CAPTRUST Employees Donate School Supplies for Local Children

August 30, 2011

For the fourth year, CAPTRUST and the Raleigh Rescue Mission have teamed up to collect and donate backpacks and other school supplies for children in need. The Raleigh Rescue Mission houses women and children that are homeless or temporarily displaced.

This year, CAPTRUST collected 15 book bags and over $1,500 in school supplies - a donation that will impact 30 children. "I really enjoyed the opportunity to work with the Raleigh Rescue Mission in ensuring that these children have a backpack and school supplies for the first day of school like the rest of their peers", says Kevin Monroe, CAPTRUST Vice President and CCF member.
